Gola

Can i live without it, Yep, would i give it up now that ive had it? Hell no!
Its the bit of convenience it gives you that makes them great, you dont have to boot up a whole laptop yet at the same time dont have to deal with a small smartphone screen, you're not going to need the tablet all the time but its going to come in very handy here and there.

You going to Drizzy or Weezy by the way? Bummed im missing both.

You can relax with your tablet whilst in bed. By the way the GS2 does not get dirty easily in white as it's glossy not matted. Matted white plastic would catch dirt easy but glossy it's just finger prints

@ Hobbster:
I'm making steady headway with Mac's Lion OS. It's naturally getting easier to find and use the all the features as each day passes. I'm slowly warming to it; there are still Windows options that I miss but to be fair there's a lot that I'm enjoying on the Mac (options-wise), including the various iLife 2011 software that was pre-installed, which includes iPhoto etc.
I DON'T use iTunes though, I prefer a third party media player on Mac and I'll be sticking with VLC for the foreseeable future. It's not as glitzy as Windows Media Player et al, but damn, it'll play virtually any format that you throw at it and there's no need for finding codec kaka for unsupported formats, the same goes for iTunes and its er... reluctance to handle Windows-derived formats. Saak that. A big thanks to the developers of VLC.

@ Bono,
I was up near your neck of the woods last weekend, when we were at the NEC for a show.

@ guys,
Congrats, this thread has now passed the '700 000 views' mark.

@amawanqa great what show was it?? I once went to a tech show there it was when the Ericsson T39 first came out. Ages ago. @Tsepz_GP yes GS2 serving me well as is the white Xperia Play I much preferred it to the black one due to nicer look and less finger print smudges. Got the Play for £149 sim free also got the dock too. The Play is my back up device.

Oh deary me.When I plug the X10 into my PC and netbook Im getting the dreaded 'USB Device Not Recognized.' notification. Therefore can't tether, access SD card or charge.
Plugged into a wall socket it charges fine.
Ever heard of this? If so,do you have a solution or a fix.
Going to try my boss's USB cable at work and see if its not just a faulty cable.
Heres hoping.

Glad you enjoying the MAC.Must be nice to have a breather from Windows.I do it every now and again with Ubuntu or one of the other Linux distros.
Most open source software are'nt that sweet on the eye but in most cases does a better job.
An example is the music player that comes pre-installed with Ubuntu.Looks absolutely bare but audio quality wise blows software like Winamp and Windows Media Player out the water.
Thumbs up for VLC.

Thats great news! The Xperia Play is a sweet phone, tried one few weeks ago also in White and i liked it, i like it in both colours, couldnt decide between the two. I love how good the Play feels in hand, it was truely built to be held for long periods of time, and its UI is very smooth, both it and the XPERIA Arc S i tried were great made my X10 feel a bit dated.

I havent heard of or had that issue, the only USB problem i know of is what we had with the port failing at charging and randomly disconnecting, must be the the cable or maybe the laptop's port?
By the way how is your X10's batt since you tether a lot with it? I think my old batt expanded due to too much tethering which caused it to heat up a lot, so now im not going to tether much with this new one.

My battery is good.never had any battery issues with this phone.
Taken my bosses X10 mini USB cable home with me to test on my PC.Hoping its just a faulty cable.
