It shows Z1 beeing f**ktastic in the end. Despite some artifacts it closely follows 1020.
And beats hell out of G2 and shockingly, S4Zoom as well.

No, the screen is not good in that video. Z1 can't compete to the Z Ultra screen. Look at the horrible colors from viewing angles.
And look to the HTC how the screen is stunning!!

I agree. Sony uses same panel in Z1 like in Z, they just have different software optimization...

Sony are a joke when it comes to screens, people will just not buy them, the same screen should be in every model and the same should be at least as good as the Ultra's screen.

I think Sony's JPEG engine nailed it on this sample (with the latest firmware)

not as noisy as the previous samples from the previous firmware, and best of all not looking like an oil -paint like the Z's.
it's still not as perfect as HX50v's but I think this one is pretty good already
