GSMArena says if you choose 1080p SSM, time goes half of 720p.

So slow-mo video resolution can be switched from 1080p to 720p? That's nice to know and that was what I was thinking when I was in the shower a while ago.😂

IP6X is dust-proof at it highest rating
IPX5 is for splash resistance
IPX8 is waterproof 1.5m submerge for 30 min (no salt or chem)
and pressure under water not to high to ensure on device safety

Overall the XZ2 is a decent package, it looks alright and is getting a lot of praise. The camera is a step up, need to see if the final units get 4K 60 fps as MWC ones don't have it. Today's software is very buggy particularly the camera app. Sony have said that the 3.5mm jack won't be missed and will be compensated with whatever thingamajig so the audiophiles will know more. The speakers have a vibration thing that enhances the deep thuds and stuff which is a cool trick, it actually works well so that is nice. Not a fan of the FPS on the back but because it is much lower than its competitiors, its alright to use and I suppose it makes sense to make a push in the US. Thickness is alright and bezels smaller to an acceptable size but I like having bezels actually.
XZ2 Compact is plain ugly and it looks quite bad because they went for polycarbonate instead of glass. Sure the footprint is great but its a tubby thing and it feels quite cheap particularly if you go for any colour other than black. I said I would get this if it had 1080p screen but I can't because of its ugliness.
The overall vibe is positive for both but I think the XZ2 is getting much more love and even if the Compact is fat due to the internals they could've just given it some glass to give it a better look.
I mentioned that there was a sneak peek at the mystery third device for certain people, it happened and slowly some bits will leak. Dual camera is there but I have a feeling that it will be in line with the XZ2 design but I hope they change it up to make it very different to the XZ2. Premiums have has glossy finishes historically but I suppose with more should be done. My feeling is they should actually announce it before IFA and go up against the S9 and S9+ because their camera will get much praise for sure and I think their S9 low light will be much improved.
I'm waiting on the XZ2 Premium but I'm happy with my blue XZ, its a shame that they didn't go for the Y design because that is the true evolution of the loop design rather than this ambient flow or whatever they call it.
