What sort of support would you need? O2 provide very little in the way of handset support even for their own officially supplied handsets.
In terms of the phone setup it would most likely not come ready set up for use on O2, but thats easily fixed by a quick visit to the SE site to download the appropriate settings.
The handset's warranty would of course be with SE, and the retailer would also have legal obligations under the sales of goods act. This is no different to gettting a branded Voda version direct from a Voda shop however.

Oh right ok cool. but for example at the moment im on o2 with CPW and if i phone o2's CS they cant help me regarding price plans and tell me i have to go to CPW. Would this be the same if i got the W900 from that site?

Would depend on who they used as a service provider, but the answer is almost certainly yes.
Worth checking with any retailers before buying as to what service providers they use, as there are some that are to be avoided like the plague, although there aren't that many around these days as they have been gradually bought up by the O2/Voda themselves.
Personally I'd never be with anything other than the network direct, but then being on Orange makes this somewhat easier since they are fortunate enough to not be saddled with the legacy of having third party service providers.

umm forgive me ppl, I've searched quite a few places and can't find a black or white w900 available on contract that is unbranded (i.e. no vodafon logo), do u think i should just get it and by a housing for it later?

Apparently you can get them on certain websites - see the info above. The white handset is exclusive to Vodaphone and will not be available elsewhere.

Carphone Warehouse hasnt had this phone in stock now over a month. I been going instore every week and been phoning the care centre. I am so 'p'd off with them cos i want this phone so much!!! By the time they get them in stock, the W810i will be out and id might aswell go for that one!! hehe
