Updated my free version. Works Ok.
Does not kill the connections manager anymore, which I find annoying.

So, rather than uninstall v1.30... and install v1.40, it looks like I should have instead simply ugraded to v1.40 on top of existing v1.30?

Therefore, guess I'll now have to uninstall v1.40... re-install v1.30... then try the upgrade to v1.40?

Will try this evening when I get home.
