I understand your point. BUT how can we identify in the future what is a real rumour and what is a joke?
With this we should consider everything a big joke right?

I hope you understand my point. There is a very thin line between rumours and farces and that line could make Esato's reputation goes up or way down.

You should treat any rumour with a pinch of salt unless it comes from Eldar, MR or rog in my opinion.
At the end of the day it was a joke, and whatever you may think of it it wasn't intended to upset people. It is up to you whether or not you trust someone to provide information. Look at the information they provide, and see if it comes true. Shaliron posts rumours that he hears in good faith, I see no reason to doubt his motives.

Yeah I understand, but we have to understand that the intent was not malicious. I wouldn't like this to hang over Esato for a long time.
The only way to restore the 'trustworthiness' of Esato would be for us to not start flaming each other, especially at this time of year. So they made a mistake; Esato will live with it. We can work together to make sure that Esato regains any lost trust and to move on.
So let's get back to being constructive again in the business of mobile news. We've still got a large reputation behind us which can hopefully support some lost trust.

The joke wasn't timed well, nor was it executed well, and arguably it was in bad taste. However, please let's remember that it was intended as a joke. I realise some of you may not be too chuffed, but at the end of the day it's not all that important really.
There are plenty of real rumours going around at the moment to keep us all interested. Let's focus on those, and look forward to some of the exciting things that will be coming out next year.

I am not upset by it. Why should I be? It was just a joke.
I genuinely believe that neither axxxr or goldenface meant any ill will. For all that I might say about axxxr, I do know that he genuinely likes and cares about this forum, and I doubt he played this joke to upset its members. The same goes for goldenface.
Perhaps they simply didn't think it through? As I said, the timing was bad, the execution poor, and the subject matter arguably in bad taste. However, I don't think people should be too upset, it was a joke that went bad, but it was still a joke.
