Was told that the joystick now has a larger mounting plate, entire piece and so far its simply great. Dont understand how some had problems with the joystick? IMO a joystick is so much relevant for cybershot phones.

Cheers

Thanks for the info bytes

Posted shots taken by K810 look amazing. Few questions:
- can the flash be used independently? (SOS etc.)
- does the surrounding area of the keypad attract more fingerprints?
- would you rate this one of the "better" texting phones out there considering the keypad?

Sorry if these have been asked before. Just curious

Just had a go of my workmates K810i.

Screen is really nice, buttons are easy to text with too - I thought they would be a problem but they're not. I like the semi-rubbery feel to the back.

Lovely phone, great design too.

@GeForce: the picture's date says 22/05/2007 and not 24/05/2007. your phone's date seems to be delayed

Haha you're right. Only had the phone a couple of days and I haven't got round to setting it up yet!

Cheers!

- No. But there is a torch app for turning on the Focus LED as a flashlight.
- Yes, but they're not very noticeable. You have to have it in the perfect light to see them. Normally you cannot.
- Yes! It's taken me a couple of days to get used to the keypad, but I now love it. Better than the K800i by a mile.

like i said, k810i must be the most finest phone ever made.

about finger prints, its nothing to think about, (i looked today in really strong sun shine at the keypad, nearly no prints, and if you get one or two prints, just clean it away of course, the keypad its really easy to clean), the joystick is much more "stable" then k800 joystick, really nice to work with (its little shorter, but trust me, its perfect)...

the joystick, is, like they say better than the K800 - it takes about 2 mins
to adjust your thumb to the smaller, more recessed size. If I had to find a
complaint it's that it's just too fine looking - keep having to take it out and
show off

Took this one whilst collecting my son

Bet he doesn't have a K810i !!!
