I don't recall if this bug was reported before, I think not.
When you are writing an SMS message (any application that uses predictive text), if you write a word that is not in the dictionary you get an option to spell and save that word. The problem there is, unfortunately you can not enter the characters used in a specific locale that is not English, FO and FC both do not work. Elsewhere, the option to view and edit your saved words works.

Have a new bug - when the phone goes into sleep mode - so after 5 to 10 min then if a call arrives i get the option yes or no to take the call or reject it - if i press yes the call dropps and the phone is blocked (still asking for yes / no decission) for some seconds (15 or so). Then i get the question if i want to create an action item or so....if i then try to call back i get the info that the network is overloaded. (Same place same day 4 times and same place and similar time no problems with Nokia 9500 or Sony W800i) - i switched to my old phone now and have to wait for a fw update again - can not use in business when it always rejects calls ....

Been tinkering with the "new" firmware since i dumped the Voda shyte and quite glad to say that the phone is more reliable than ever. However, can someone confirm whether or not this is the case: -

I have noticed that when creating a new SMS (flip-closed), the default font size is set to Large. When changing this via the Editing screen to medium it seems the change is no longer saved for all new SMS's.

I distinctly recall that each of my new messages are created using the Medium setting, yet now it seems it is all defaulted to Large. Is this duplicated with anyone else?

Hi guys,

after updating my world 1 p990i to the latest firmware r4b03 i found that the picture viewer would crash every time i would scroll through my pictures so i did a second update like this,

first i restored the phone through the hidden menu, secondly i deleted the db inside the seus folder, thirdly i shutdown my firewall and then made a fresh update.

And again, only to find out that the problem is still there.

I have 47 pictures inside that folder,
i open the picture gallery and select the folder,
i then click on any of the pictures and fit it to screen but not on the full screen,
i scroll down and on the 13th (or sometimes even before the 13th) picture and then the picture does not show up but i see the broken picture icon,
i scroll down and bang, the picture viewer has crashed taking my phone down with it as the p990i stops responding and the only way out is to hard off by keeping the off button pressed.

I am frustrated, a new firmware comes out and deals with some of the bugs but creates others.

I think this is unrelated.

Hook up the phone via USB mode and move all the pictures to the pc. Clean up the folder and delete any .THM files too. Check the pictures and ensure that they are working through windows and relad them into the phone a group at a time while checking if it crashes once again.

alpha, i was just trying to reproduce your problem, i have 97 photos on a folder, and browsed around 30, then stopped, because nothing happened. Still, i ask more users to try it, but it seems not to be general problem

I browsed a folder in which I have some "broken" pictures. I was able to scroll up and down, back and forward. no issues with the latest FW.
