Unfortunately I keep having the same problem when i try to change the cda of my w950i...
Hold 'C' button and plug DCU60 USB cable.
Phone Connected...
Error: Bypass!> REQ.
I already uninstalled and reinstalled all the drivers...
I managed to flash my P990i yesterday, but only after a series of the same errors as with eroG ..
I decided to restart my computer; PC suite launched itself afterwards due to the fact that my P990i was connected to the PC with the USB cable. Once closed PC suite KKClient was able to detect my P990i and I could start flashing my phone ... it's a flashy P990i now ... brilliant piece of work B.R. at Kulankendi!! tnx a lot.

PS. Ik know, nanu*1, one can read it in a thread in this topic

but working my way trough 19 pages takes a long time chap

I've read it all know

have u tired checking the configuratioins of your router? maybe the option in your router is set to "g" only...have it both since p990 can't be connected to a "g" device...

Its set to b/g.
With the previous Vodafone UK firmware it would show as passing 2.6K of data to and from the router via the wlan but not actually connect to any web pages. Now it doesn't even pretend to connect at all.
Will try it on an unsecured network in a coffee shop somewhere, but I've virtually given up on getting it working.

I've never had any problems connecting using WIFI. On any firmware. Maybe try without any security on the router, including MAC filtering. And then slowly apply different security measures.

how long have you had the egg timer for? as this can take a long time as it is deleting the languages you don't need!!
