Is the QVGA video rec in 3gpp?
Hope it is not as 3gpp is crap quality compare to Mpeg. QVGA 3gpp is unwatchable on in TV / PC full screen mode unlike mpeg.

Question: does this

trend of bigger screen with same resolution (240 x 320 pixels) influence the quality? I remember the S700 having a big screen with a certain resolution, didn't like the result (looked grainy).

Sure it does, Nokia has been doing this for quite some time. This reduces pixels per inch and makes the image looks blockier.

It appears that the around the camera there is a ring of blue lighting (perhaps when the camera is activated). This, along with the keypad colour, may clash with the black and green version dont you think? At the moment I cannot decide which colour I want, but Im thinking green!

if i get one, im going to have to paint those chrome keys, similar to how they look in that PSd pic of the blue phone ... DAMNIT i hate opening new phones ... but after seeing the pic its really irratating me that they are taking away from the fluidity of thier design (albeit poor, but w.e now i guess)

i knew se would do this, spoil me for choice. I was adement on getting the P1 coz it has everything for me,but now the k850 and the w960 look also appealing. As mentioned a lot he k850 design is something to get used to but cant really decide until an in depth review comes out for the new handsets. Im a little dissapointed with the k850 but then again it is focused on imaging and thats what se have done, cant compare it to the n95 coz thats a smart phone and k850 is not.

2. the camera lens protector is actually BEHIND the piece of glass (a surface you can wipe with your cloth), so you won't be wiping dust directly onto the lens
Presumably this means that the cover(glass) in front of the lens cover can get scratched / dirty and then damage the picture quality, even though the lens itself doesn't get scratched.
So does this seem to slightly miss the point of a lens cover!?
