i think the "focus lock" he's mentioning is that you half-press the cam button then wait for the beep...

I'm uploading for the first time Numbers 1's camdriver (v2.89) to my K810 with XS++ 2.2.
I've fallowed the instructions given in the 1st post on this topic.
XS is running for 50 mins now and it still shows: sending db2020_cid01_prodid_p3j.bin.
Is it normal that it take so long ?
Must i still wait ?
Thanks for you help

It is`n normal that it take so long.
Try to restart PC & remove SIM & MemoryStick from the phone!
Then start XS++,hit "connect" , hold "C" on the phone & connect it!
Good luck!

can confirm that 2.89 is brighter than previous. Can u fix this number1? yes it gives overexposed pictures, in conditions that 2.86 gave a great picture. You should make -0.7 normal EV (0.0EV in 2.89) because its too bright. that way if we need, we can increase EV. -0.7 gives good picture in rainy day, 80% light. 0.0 is overexposed if taking a picture of a flower or a white/yellow building. Plz fix it.

exposure and brightness are the same on both drivers there is no difference, no 1 has even proved it yet
