ok HOLY CRAP question...

the above video shows the user entering into the Messaging menu, into the RSS Feeds menu, and into the options, showing two verrrry interesting entries.

1 - PODCAST SETTINGS

2 - STANDBY TICKER - SHOW IN STANDBY

Can anyone give some words on the functionality of these menus, who has the phone? The standby ticker is especially interesting to me!!! Does anyone have any photos of what it looks like???

The ticker basically brings up an rss feed on the screen that you can scroll through. Interesting, but can get a bit annoying!!

Sorry about asking it again, but maybe someone can answer to me. Thanks!

Does K850i have a standby green led light like K610i has? Is it hidden in the green/blue strip?

If there is no blinking green led light... ok... but what about the red led light warning about low battery. Where is it situated?

has anyone else experience problems with the Bluetooth?

I am on my 3rd k850i from O2, the first had a very harsh speaker which buzzed when the caller spoke..the 2nd had a duff cursor and the 3rd....welll touch wood.

All 3 had the same firware version, 1200-4400 R1CA029 070922, but the first allowed be to always allow a bluetooth connection from a paired device but the last two want confirmation everytime u access the phone......anyone else having this problem?

Does anyone know when SE will have a new firmware version up? I previously flashed my old K700i using davinci, but i would up that I wouldnt need to resort to 3rd party stuff now that SE provides the updated firmware......

cheers

if you hilight the paired device in bluetooth > my devices and then click options > allow connection you can set it to "always allow" instead of "always ask"

@jawilson

I have this same issue. I have a bluetooth car kit, and my K850i prompts me to allow access every time. I do not have an option to always allow it in under My devices.

i am reviewing the K850 for some months now.
everyone says that it is capable of recording video at 30fps.

but from the samples on the web you can see the video recording is 15fps.
(tried several samples but the results are the same!!! )

some say that the samples was taken with prototype devices and this will be fixed in the release version.

anyone here that owns a K850 can confirm 30fps video recording????

thanks.

Got the orange k850i this mornin (cheers PK )
My first thought was this phone is beautiful lol!
My second thought after turning it on was however, what the f*** have they done to the phone lol
It has all the orange symbols on the main menu meaning no flash menu and on the media menu as well.
Its not that bad but I still will be debranding as soon as poss!
Ill write some more when I've tested the phone out more!

My friend has an Orange branded K850i, and I have to say they really have ruined the menus etc!

You could always unbrand it, when the tools are compatible.
