Is it not strange, to see Sony Ericsson Mobile Communication (Rest of World) use the same name on their Flagship CameraPhone, as Sony Ericsson Japan...SO905iCS, C905i...
OMG I didn't noticed that LOL SO905iCS and 905i HAHAHAHAHAHAHA =D
@Clauf
Its funny lol - the 905i looks the PART - as I said, is it not strange to see SEMC, use the same naming convention as SEMCJ/DoCoMo - I feel this is a clever move on part of SEMC in General to standardise Sony Ericsson globally - as it is, this is the first time we see a SEMC Device, (SpecsWise) outperform its SEMCJ counterpart - the SO905iCS...having spoken to Rikke Gertsen recently at a lecture - she confirmed to myself, that 'a new imaging focused phone was developed by Sony' - S700i anyone?

C905 and SO905iCS is a lot of coincidence.
C905 -
Cybershot highend (9) slider (5), first iteration (0)
SO905iCS -
Sony Ericsson manufactured highend (9) slider with
Cyber-
shot branding.
NTT DoCoMo has a xx7xx series and a xx9xx series. Last cypher is incrementing for every iteration and does not hint on form-factor as it does on western
now.

Has anyone noticed the focus assist lamp beside the xenon flash that was first introduced in K800 and become missing in K850 days returned with C905? so i think SE has incorporated all the features from some of their phones into this one.
C902: accelerometer and autorotate
K850: first SE with 3LED videolight
K800: first SE with Xenon focus assist beam
C702: GPS + AGPS
+
*WiFi
*DLNA
and maybe:
*A300(project capuchin)
Imo the design was definitely inspired by these three cybershot phones:
SO905iCS: take a look at the camera design on the side of the phone
K550 (the silver+black combo which i loved the most)
K800: the way the lens cover slides, actually the three phones slide in a similar manner but K800 was the first to start this trend
W910: the simple yet safe front design that made W910 the best 3GSM phone for 2007.
So this really looked like a japanese phone: so gsmarena would reiterate their previous line used in S700 review:
Welcome to Japan!
@ Razec
I completely agree with you dude,
The side profile is Exactly the same as the SO905iCS - and the back, well its the slickest looking Cyber-shot handset to date - it looks like a Cyber-shot camera, which is what is important - it does not look like a toy!
This is what I had posted in Concepts, and am happy to say im pretty chuffed at the outcome!
And the front...

Is A200 platform capable of supporting video capture up to VGA 30fps?

Bav,
We will know that after the C905's announcement. AFAIK, A2 does support VGA recording.

Thats good. Well either way we will know tomorrow. I hope the hardware has been tweaked to allow for H264 playback.

The vga recording is not linked to A200 or A300 platform but to hardware,it depends on the video cam chipset and the lens of course!

So with Shiho leaked, and the C902 in the shops are we back in a K850 situation? Whereby
release another "K810" to tide people over until Shiho is released? With the C902 being the "K810" in this situation.

Nah not really. The C902 is actually a down-grade to the K850i in many respects - screen size, camera flash, etc. They are actually two separate lines aimed at different people: The K850i is aimed at those who just want a great camera. The C902 is aimed at those who want a great camera which is thin and fashionable and are willing to pay more for its thinness.
