Are you sure about that? I don't see a reason why C702 should have different focus steps since same work in C902 and C905 etc.

I think you notice it suddenly as the focus directly jumps from 0 to 22 after you raise EV to 0.3 after selecting negative effect.

try to go go EV = - 2.0 after selecting negative effect and gradually raise EV. You should see a progressive change...

if according to you, (nearest macro) should be from -2.0 and gradually increase to +2.0.
but i'm very sure, 5cm (nearest macro) is on EV = +0.3, no matter start from EV = 0 or EV =-2.0..
I took a short video... and while recording, i adjust the EV from 0 to -2 to 2 to 0 again, and the results is still the same.

I'm just telling the truth, so that this camdriver can be perfected.. U can ask code whether it's true or not..

my personal opinion: maybe the focus point alternates, positive and negative? -2.0 > 1.7 > -1.3 > 1.0 > -0.7 > 0.3 > 0 ...........

This test is done using Fast Stone Image Viewer (free download available at Filehippo.com)
All images are 100% crop. EV steps are written on along the exif data. EV step represents manual focus adjust, not actual exposure value. According to code, this camdriver has a little bit changes from the code alpha posted in this thread.

Subject approx distance (15cm: from thumb to index finger span)

Subject approx distance (7~9cm: index finger length)

Hope this helps.. Will proceed with more tests, if internet connection is good

hi, i have been using your drivers for quite some time and they are great compared to stock and number first ones but it may be abit out of subject but i wonder it's posible to implement the autoflash feture like the c902 because having the leds lit up all the time is sick and tiring

by the way the manual focus works great keep up the good work

@nari
use twilight landscape for nightshot to reduce noises

@tompzone
it's firmware, not a camdriver. so there's no way to change it
