I forget where I read it but it was probably a few pages back on here. Some people have already downloaded the Froyo 2.2 update to their Galaxy's via XDA Developers or something but it's obviously not the finished product & may have problems.

well, I'm an iPhone developer but since the iOS4 debarcle I've decided until a major o/s release is warranted I can wait until an official release includes the latest 4.1 release

What did you replace your Galaxy S with bonovox? Sorry to hear you got bored of it so soon. I'm still happy with mine. Battery seems reasonable for 2 days for me (1 day if I'm hammering it). I will hold out for froyo and see what improvements and changes come with that.

I get a day out of the battery which I don't mind as I've been used to charging my phone daily with pretty much every handset I've owned the last few years. Camera isn't the best, but I only use it as a point and shoot when I've not got my digital camera with me. Hd video is Good, but again only use it when I don't have my Hd camcorder with me. As an AA patrol I am on the road a fair bit and find my galaxy is great for web and email on the go, and watching video on the rare quiet moments. But we all like different devices for different reasons otherwise we'd all have iphones
