Hi, IŽm from Spain, I have a t68 with the first release and I think I have good news for all you.
My brother in law is product marketing manager of SE in Lund and he and my sister has the t68 (like mine). My last visit to Sweden I saw their phones with the software of the t68i in their t68, and I asked him the possibility to update,he told me yes but until the week 14 the software doesnŽt be in the SP. He doesnŽt update it to me because he is a jerk (Next time iŽll go there he updates it to me or wait in Spain for a SP). He told me that the time to update is aproximately 45 minutes.

I dont get it. We know the software is out there, we have seen the pictures, we know what it does, so what on earth is taking so long? Some people are saying April/May now and that is ridiculous!! If the SW is ready they should just release it. I need animated screensavers!!!!

Emma2 is a really cool chick, no I'm kidding
Emma2 is the name of the server that the

Ah, I see. So do some of the people on here have access to that then? Do you HAVE to go to a service centre to flash your phone or can you do it at home with a link cable, or similar...? Or am I crazy for wanting to try...?

No you cannot flash the phone by yourself.
When you upgrades your SW in the phone there is tiny, tiny little risk that the phone gets damaged, but if it happens when its done at an

SP they will bring you a new phone!
And its no usual that it does, I mean I dont want to frighten anyone!!

well i flashed my friends t39 for him coz he is rich and would buy another , i got the roms and the codes from a SE friend in UAe and then the serial cable from him too, it was when his service center was down and he wasnt updating phones he let me borrow em, but im lucky coz i had a t68 which i sent to upgrade and they tried to upgrade it and screwed up so i got a new phone! a t68m!

and yes there is a difference! my old one said Ericsson t68 under the battery! but the new one says SE t68m! cool!

so no new info on the software releases??
