I'm getting very annoyed with GalaxyNexus! There is no Notes app of any kind as part of this software and too many in the PlayStore that sync require you to consistently be connected to their cloud service EVEN to enter a damn Note!?? SpringPad is one such app. The others are way too basic. Also whats with ICS/JB's inverted display (white/blue on black background)?! I feel like my eyes are straining all the time using this device; yes I wear glasses to read.
On the hunt for a full retail iPhone 5 even a 16GB will do today as I'm going insane! Unless Xperia TX can solve these issues I'll await late next year to see what Android does to its core OS. Noticeably Android apps as common as still subpar for quality (not the OS, the apps themselves from company's I expect higher quality: Bloomberg, Reuters, WhatsApp; very minimal).
I can send you the Notes app from Xperia (ICS). It should work well with your GalaxyNexus

Got approval from work to get one
as I never did an upgrade on my line with the previous carrier so there is NO cost with the new one for my line to our company

thanks for the offer but I gave it up way too quickly before your post. I guess I'm getting old/young and just to busy with work that home time I treasure for me, not troubleshooting my phone to tweak. At the end of the day we want to use all the features of our chosen phone platform not waste time tweaking it right? Sure there are things that need to be adjusted on iOS and later than sooner those will come ... but if RIM knocks a home run with BB10 I'll be trying that out next. I really feel iOS7 will be a major overall of what we all know to be with respect to iOS6. Apple is now understanding that even its core users are becoming power users.
