Just got an OTA update to Cyan for my Lumia 1520. I downgraded from the Developer Preview on Saturday so I was running straight WP8
Just a heads up for any other 1520 users who may use this forum as the Nokia update page says its still "Under Testing"

Thank you very much ☺ And you are correct I have checked the Nokia update page today as well.

Mine is still downloading- can't wait to play with windows 8.1 . I hope that it is more stable than the Developer preview

On the Lumia 930 I played with in the store it worked brilliantly- so that's what I am hoping for Lumia 1520 also.......☺

I uninstalled the first DP rollout, it was awfully buggy but the last version I was using up until Saturday was very good so you shouldn't be disappointed

Cheers, mine received a pre cyan update first and only now is installing the cyan update which the phone told me that it could take between 15 and 30 minutes ......so I am waiting patiently by the phone.

The main thing I am worried about is the battery - I hope that cyan update won't ruin this wonderful battery life....

The early DP builds were awful for battery life but the last versions were great. Battery life was helped considerably on the DP by doing a hard reset after installation. I haven't reset after the official Cyan update this evening so we'll have to see

Thanks for the feedback. Mine finished installing now and it seems faster than the 8.0. Also it is weird seeing the network signal icon permanently but I am not complaining. It is now updating 17 apps- hopefully the rest will work fine with 8.1.

I like the new store layout - the download and history tabs too...Both good additions!

Its a great update with a lot of new features, having been using the DP until a couple of days ago im quite used to it all.I wish I was patient like you ! enjoy the update. WP feels like its finally coming of age, it a long way from the Omnia 7 I had 4 years or so ago.

Just out of interest which screen do you prefer, your G3 or the 1520 ? I had a play about with a G3 the other day and I must say that I thought the 1520 display was more than a match for the G3

The only reason I was patient was because I had 2 other phones to play with (note 3 which I changed with a lg g3 and iPhone 5s☺) . Anyway I like the update so far, action center , the extra information added, it feels snappier etc I like the browser too, I want to use it more so I can work out if it runs better. Anyway so far I am excited about it.....definitely worth the wait ☺

I like the extra sharpness/resolution on the g3 however I think Nokia produces better colours and plus it has larger size so overall I prefer Nokia's screen
