@ Jamzy, Hi. First of all thank you for your post. I just checked the flicker and compare both camera's pic side by side and I'll say your post proves my point. In 8 mp sample Z5 has less noise and superb color and lots of details. S6 seems to be unnaturally brighten up the scene and if you look closely you will see slight Orangly cast in every S6 night pic. Even in daylight scene Z5 manages to retain detail that can compete with S6.
Now I'll wait for DxOmark and connect.dpreview.com to review the Z5 series. But judging form the few early samples I'm sure they will say the same thing. I won't be surprised if they declare Z5 is the best camera among smartphone. I tend to side more with dpreview opinion than DxOmark. I think Z5 will be the first Sony phone that will score higher than 8 in dpreview. Lets just wait.

Hmm I can't seem to access the full images, the largest I can get is 2048 x 1152 of flickr, so not 8mp. Plus I can't seem to download the photos off their flickr account. So hard to get a real sense from the photos.
But as with previous comparisons, the S6 seems sharper, a lot sharper, this can be seen in the golf photo, S6 much sharper and much more details (look at the headlight). Z5 golf looks smudgy in places.
In the photo with the candle, glasses and frame, the S6 has half the ISO but a longer exposure time, 2x (1/33 vs 1/64), while parts of the S6 photo seem overexposed, more details are visible versus the Sony photo, the darker areas.
In the photo of the fake plant, again same situation, Z5 ups the ISO, while the S6 instead increases the exposure time. Visibly less noise in the S6 photo and sharper, Z5 photo has more noticeable noise, not as sharp.
In the hat photo, sony wins this, the S6 is overexposed in some parts of the photo and while increasing the exposure time helps to get in more light, increasing the ISO as well can cause overexposure. Z5 performs well, 1/32 and 125 ISO, not the cleanest image, but still noise is below what we have seen so far.
Headphones, S6 again here, much sharper and cleaner photo. Z5 again looks smudgy, has more noise and more artifacts, hopefully that is the jpeg compression and not from the phone.
The coins, identical ISO, and noise seems quite similar in both, meaning sony can handle noise, but perhaps not all the time it seems. S6 is still sharper, this can be seen well in the coins. Perhaps slightly better contrast on the S6 photo as well, but this can be altered in post after.
Sewer cover, S6 again sharper, also has twice the exposure time.
Grey post, S6 a tad sharper, noise equal in both, seems Sony's noise issue is more connected with indoor photos, outdoor is more or less fine with noise.
Finally the garbage bins, colours seem more stronger on S6, both use ISO 40 and have very close exposure times. Again same story, S6 is still sharper.
So conclusion? Nothing final, wait until production software devices begin selling and people begin posting photos. But from what this comparison and the previous one shows, Sony has a noise issue in the indoor photos, outdoor shots and noise is not an issue but that is because there is plenty of light.
The other problem I see is sharpness and details, in some, maybe majority of the photos the Z5 photos are not as sharp as the S6 photos, hopefully this is a software issue and sony can fix the algorithm.
This is how I see these photos, just my take on them.

Keep in mind that Z5 uses very wide lens (24mm) for a phone hence it is natural to have zoomed out details.

Yupe, you can't just simple zoom in until the object is the same size. Z5 will also be smaller at 100%.

Sony's announcements to launch window is just too damn long and spectre movie for z5 premium in not an excuse. It is pretty lame to wait for mid november for an actual availability in stores for premium (optimistic estimation). They had plenty of time to work on z5 devices. Is it that hard for them to launch new flags lets say up to a month from announcement?

We don't really know why it's November tbh
Maybe it's the production of the 4K screens resulting in a November launch.

Long time lurking.
Um it won't be the production of the 4k screens
That would be a concern Wouldn't it?
A little patience never harmed, Enjoy the movie and get the phone and chick 😎

Even the Midrange m5 video camera is better than Note 5.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bQiMGzBd0w Perhaps it's better than Z5
Btw laser autofocus is a gimmick because sony beats them all

Laser autofocu is a gimmick because it works up to 60cm. M5 has decent camera but overall worse than Note 5. And better than Z5 because pictures from Z5 are too noisy.
