Come on guys. A phone is a phone. Those who need more memory, why not get yourself a good pda instead. I think k600 will be a killer. Watch out Nokia.

There are not many phones smaller than the T610 and the fact that this is only 2mm taller does make it a small phone, definitely as small phone if it is UMTS.

A killer??!! Why would u give mp3 and mpeg4 capabilities and then restrict the memory to 36mb???!! What am I going to put on 36mb? a playlist of 9 songs?

"Watch out Nokia"...
Mmm

This phone is coming late, due out Q3'05... And in pure tradition, it will be late? Pricetag unknown. On the other hand 6680 will sell -earlier- at ~500€ not to mention 6630 which has been out for quite a while already and whose price will drop.
Z800 will be out late (June?), due to Vodafone exclusive contract for V800. Pricetag unknown either.

Let's see how the 3G market share evolves this year, but there will be significant changes now companies are ramping up their 3G offering. So far, FYI, LG is leading, followed by Motorola.

you do know that for an example v525 supports mp3 with only 5MB and k500 with only 12MB, mp3's are their mainly for ringtones but are you pissed because they gave A CHOICE rather locking things like most manufacturers?
the latest line of se phones have the same user interface and i really don't see the point of removing the media player even if you don't have a 1gb ms duo.....
heck a lot of operators offer mp4 and 3gp videos, and considering it's a umts phone i therefore think it's rat5her smart that they have included support for it, i mean most videos are 1mb....
anyway you have a choice, z800 with 1gb or this, i would take the k600

You can't compare the K600 with the 6680 and if you do it would be silly. Yes, SE phones come out quite expensive but that is only to keep the cotumers at bay till they build up enough stock, to stop their phones from being sold out the day they hit the market.
The 7610 and K700 came out at close prices but now the K700 is a lot cheaper. If this situation happens again so what the K600 will eventuall end up one of the cheaper 3G phones on the market and then it will probably the best selling 3G phone of 2005.

I won't . I think the phone is cool.

For the majority of prospective customers, there will be sufficient memory, for the rest there will simply never be enough memory

I am a bit worried about the screen size. Do you guys think the 3G clamshells will have an advantage over the k600i because of their screen size?
