hi all
i m in abu dhabi i have p990 since 1 week i made the firmare upgrade and i m happy with it
my big problem is that arabic software not availble anywhere. just one higri calender software availble in SE shop but not really usufull
anyone have an idea about future software for arabic language enable
that permit to read at least our arabic sms.......

so I'm sure there should be something in the future for the P990

Arabic SMS reader is available in Bahrain for the P990i through the official SE agent but, they will only install it if the phone is bought through them.

i just got from the market again to check the price of the p990i,Some said SR 3,500 and the lowest price i got is SR 3,300 but out of stock. I live in riyadh saudi arabia. How about you guys living in UAE can i ask what firmware do you have?? Is it working well or is the same problem in p990i dicussion?? I hope the phones released here in the middle east are in good conditions.

They are selling the P990i here in Bahrain for B.D. 295. They are out of stock at the moment.
