Since you've probably updated your Z1 to .534 firmware by now, could you share some samples ? Kindly use Manual 8 MP mode and not Superior Auto. Superior Auto mode is still not much improved and doesn't deliver great results.

Here is another full 20MP photo taken in manual mode with my Z1 using the new .534 software the iso was set at auto as was the focus. I only had 30 seconds to snap the photo as I had to sneak out of work ha ha

I played around with the Z1(C6903 I believe) at a carrier store one hour ago. The screen is gorgeous! Especially the colors. Viewing angles up to 45° are great, and at wider angles the contrast is lower but, unlike the original Z, colors remained.
And quite frankly, I wouldn't pay USD 10 for "perfect viewing angles". It's just not that important on a phone.
The lighting in the store was too good to challenge the camera. All shots looked great, although it was hard to judge from the motives. What surprised me however was how snappy the camera was.
I will probably get my ordered one along with the dock on monday.
Has any Z1 been confirmed to have a panel NOT from Sharp?

@random - your czech video comparison with HTC one.. my Z1 looks like that screen haha.. i changed my wall paper and added the same widgets just to make sure. but it looks like it. and i can tell you, viewing angles are not 178 degrees. colors are good. clarity is good. but very light colors will start to blend together as you rotate the screen. that being said, i'm happy with what it can do and it will be my phone for a few years.
for the sample from the new firmware. i think it's improved.. more detail captured and not as much blur, but those processing artifacts are still everywhere (lots of lil white specs). i hope this will be improved in future updates!

Ramu, what do you mean wait 1-2 months? Do you have Intel on newer screens? I wonder how the phones coming to Canada will be.
Very excited by the latest camera shots on the new firmware. Can we confirm whether this is the big camera update, or is that still to come?
