Don't know either... probably coz I've never looked much further as long as I had a working AVsw anyway
I guess I'll evaluate that sophos then... see if it's any good...... that is......... if the evaluation version really can remove my unwanted guest. I hate evaluation copies that scan and then say 'this is all i can do, if you want to know what else I can do, buy me first'
Obviously I want to evaluate first and then buy

most of the well known ones are pretty much the same anyway. personally rather use a big name with a lot of staff and support to keep up with the new virus releases etc.

True s'pose it was a bit forward to say it's crap if i aint tryed it,so i'll take that back.
U say 'IT professionals' well my ole man IS and he recommends Sophos.
Just a difference of opinion bit like AMD/INTEL u either like 1 or the other.
Guess it's just best to stick to what u tink is good for u
I have no need to change but if marga had Norton then how she manage to get it on there
