Well, I haven't pre-ordered it (ain't possible in my country), but I'm planning to buy it as soon as it hits the stores.

Article on sunamo says someone posted of reddit that benchmarks of 1 would be higher than other androids because of F2FS.
What does this mean?

the "FS" in F2FS is "File System"

I mean I dont understand what difference it makes for the device.
Bravia Master Series Z9G 8K 98" = US$ 70.000,00
LOL, almost the price of my house ...
My Bravia is 48" and I think it's huge already...
Does 1 use ufs2.1 or 3.0?

Not available in my country, SEA region but waiting for reviews to see if its worth getting. Been holding on my XZ for far too long.

I am interested to see the screen tests.
What positive changes Creator Mode can bring.
I am very curious to see what Cinema Pro can do, but sadly I do not have any HDR screen to better watch.
Sony will be heavily betting on Premium products starting this year.
8K HDR TVs, PS5 is confirmed to have 8K , Alpha 9 II for september and Xperia 1.

wow. what kind of house do you live in that's $70,000?
48" is not huge. especially for 8K. To appreciate 8K you definitely need 80" or better and sit no more than 10 feet away.
X1 will probably fail. wonder what the preorder numbers are.
I'm curious what IFA will bring, but even more curious about what sony has in mind for MWC2020 since I may be looking to upgrade spring 2020. Their biggest problem, as it's always been, is time from announcement to release. They have too much of a delay and end up releasing a phone that is barely keeping up with the market standard in most features. I wish sony would go back to their roots and be the innovator they used to be. The leadership really screwed things up.
Gone are the days where where "like no other" meant sony was the best of the best. Now they're better described as, "almost like others"

In american dollars my house is worth about 90K.
I watch those USA/Canada reno TV shows, small cities are full of cheap houses people can buy for much less than 80K.
Many around Atlanta.
I mean for my taste 48" (our current TV) is very big already.
My concern about 1 is battery endurance.
Screen area is a bit bigger than XZ2 Premium, but it has 240 mAh less than previous version.
Even with oled I dont know if we can expect different numbers.
XA2 series has very long battery life, beating many Galaxy A devices with similar battery size and screen area.
Being great product does not mean sales will be great.
Except Apple, Samsung and Huawei..... I doubt any other brand sells more than 5 million of flagships, not even those that charge $500.

They should've skipped MWC this year since the Xperia 1 still isn't ready and done a Huawei style late announcement. The moment Samsung announced the S10 dates you saw the dash for pre-orders so it's just embarrassing for Sony now. Since we know IFA will have something more refined I'd skip the Xperia 1 altogether, hopefully it'll have Sony sensors inside but this long wait is awful. I'm waiting for the release anywhere in the world so that we get some reviews, it's needs some exposure because I totally forgot about it until Sony emailed me.
