@Aya & co: It just aint fair that only a few of you are enjoying this freebie from mtn, I've been scouting the nooks and crannies of lagos searching for an 0803 sim that will detect gprs signals all day without success, is there anyone out there who knows anyone who has sucessfully activated an 0806 sim? Pleeeeeeeeeeease!!!

Hey... MTN has caused waqhala! Which one is aya & co? Why not 2tek & co; afterall 2tek initiated us all

Anyway, I havent met anyone with an 0806 SIM that works with it yet.

@amby: I feel for you, really. I have a friend who is so frustrated right now that he is inches away from damning the consequences and calling MTN customer care!

Abeg, make him no pour sand for our garri jare.

Angel, you don't need to recharge nor have access to use the gprs for browsipg but you need access for mms.
i've used both 16k & 32k sims to browse.
You just need to leave ur sim in ur handset & be patient for the service to come. one of the lines i tried that didn't work yesterday is now workidg... just be patient...

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to say that I am one of the few people who seem to be enjoying this news awoof from MTN. Egunjespoillagos gave me the lowdown (he tried to get paid for it) and my Vodafone branded P910i seems to be working fine. As soon as i get the hang of it I hope to be posting from my handheld. But at least I don't have to get two phones now. I was really dreading that.

@Mamba: I'm interested. How much do you want for it? Send me an sms on 08052036848 with your address. I have an 0803 sim that detects gprs presence but when I try to connect, I get the error message "GPRS parameters not supported" any suggestions? _________________ This message was posted from a T610
