Garam Masala seems to be a hit. I really enjoyed Boeing Boeing especially the chicken scene.

@blu,i wanted to go to iqbal.i put up the suggestion and my friends gave me a "what was that" look and roared with laughter.
garam masala did the following business(from yesterdays newspaper)....USA alone
usa..1st weekend=$400,000 something.
1st week =$483,000
2nd weekend =$186,000
2nd week=$216,000
3rd weekend=$80,000
total till now(nov 20)=$780,068

btw,the chicken scene was missing in garam masala.

when boeing boeing was released, mallus thought the standard of comedy is going down.
but when the same movie is released in hindi as garam masala..for example..
when 1 girl opening the door to enter the room and the other girl shutting at the same time to leave the room....2 heros fighting and falling over the sofaset...while mallus may just grin or smile, people here where jumping on their seats, some ducking down with laughter...almost falling off their seat with laughter.the standard of comedy in hindi cinemas is way low.

also the emotions on akshay kumar was copied from mohan lal...as if they put a cassette of boeing boeing and asked the hindi actors to do the same.

and yeah, priyadarshan know 1 more thing wat bollywood audiece wants...s*x it up..use lots of maldovian/balkan models in bikinis...as much as possible.

sorry non mallus...but thats a reality.
is priyadarshan reading this??but why should he care...he must be laughing his way to the bank right now.
