sai,i very much wanted to see movies like iqbal but the problem with such movies r that they not being popular may not be released in my place(market for those movies dont exist here).if at all such movies r released,they r shown for about a week.i went to see garam masala and deewanr huye pagal because of my friends persuation(even though i have seen the original movies).i didnt want to e the party pooper.
for me to see a movie,i should get time off from my schedule,atleast one of my friends should be ready to watch the movie with me and finally,it should be in a specific theatre(only one theatre here has A/c with dolby sounds etc and where people have to observe the rules like sitting on the seat alloted to them)

ihave seen movies like golmaal and hera pheri(remake of hit malayalam movie "ramji rao speaking")i have enjoyed them.

Ofcourse Thuggie I got that,I too had on occassion seen "those" Karishma-Govinda- Shakti Kapoor- David Dhawan'ers..

Its "now" that I "chose".
During my UnderGrads I was as-you-said 'not in sync with English' & watched 53 (Tango n Cash, Stop or my Mum will Shoot type) flicks to an year..

Then with life gettin serious, I'd even go for "any" Bovine Crap at times to de-stress..

For the off beat types Iav had to go solo at times..

its true that Slapstick humour & S-E-X is a great marketing mantra..
