Hi,
I using a K800i with T-Mobile Uk network. And I came to know that Sony Ericsson released a firmware version R1GB001
on 15/12/06. I tried to update my firmware using "Sony Ericsson Update services" and it said that I don't have a update at the moment. But one of my friend
updated, but he had the same firmware as me but he is on O2 network.
Can you pls help me update my firmware ? My firm ware detals are below

Nightmare (From Disney, it should be The Nightmare before Christmas)

And found 1 new application,
minibus (It is written by Mobilesoft Technology (HK) Ltd., I think it it customized for HK)
But sadly all data gone as it needs a complete flash of EROM.

What I will say is Yes, althrough still has some bugs, but it is much better than any old firmware.
I found it has English search in phone book on HK version now, before it doesn't, this made me very appreciate.

Hm you mean english search while you choose chinese traditional language? SE always have English search in phonebook for English language AFAIK.
Anybody knows what is the difference between chinese traditional HGK and Taiwan firmware?

Finally upgrade to R1GB. It seems faster. However I live in area where 3g signal is still unstable and since I upgrade to R1GB the 3g icon has dissapeared. I will go to a place where 3g signal is stronger to see what is the problem. Hopefully it is only the signal and not the phone firmware. will report to you all back ASAP.

What kind of problem? My wife Z610 has weird problem that it can't download apps/games from se wap page. Installing via bluetooth seems fine. I bought this overseas so I have to wait until I go there again this year.
