Finally got a hands-on with a Xperia Z. It really does feel slim and surprisingly light. The power button placement is spot on. It feels premium when holding it. As for the display, I think the grayish UI does make it look washed-out. Viewing angles are decent, but head on it really looks sharp. It still is not as good as the HTC One and Butterfly which I also just got a hands-on, though.
Haha you have the one with JDI screen

I have the obe wit Sharp panel, that panel wipe the floor with HTC one and SGS4 screen

worf, are you still dreaming?

And why the hell are you quoting the post
JUST over you???
Why is it toooooooooooooooo difficult to just reply? Do you think we don't know to who you writing?
Notice! No matter SHARP or JDI panel, both crap and no chance vs HTC magic screen...
The ION got the best screen so far what I've seen from SONY. Hoping next flagships get a real nice display.
SONY must keep going next level and not return back...

There are comparative videos showing Z competes perfectly with any other phone.

Anybody tried one of
these yet?
Designed for Xperia Z, slots inside the back cover, allows Qi wireless charging.
I'm slightly worried about water sealing the rear again, but I believe I can do it myself.
This and an SBH20 into the aux should give my car a really nice wireless setup with no messing around with flaps and cables.

I'm sorry but Data Video Call is way more expensive than compared to 3G Video Call.
Well, India isn't the world and world wide it looks complete differently and that's why video call capabilities are not included in most handsets nowadays. There is simply no market for it. Not at those prices you find in most countries.

In India you pay only USD3.66/month for unlimited 3G Video Call. Where as Skype/Tango etc use heavy data. Already prices for 3G data plans are high enough and the best you get in India is 5GB. I've used 5GB 3G data without using Skype.
Are you suggesting you have unlimited video calls for just 3.66 ? No tariff per minute ?
From what I have seen (even in India) it seems there is a tariff involved and in such case that is not cheep. In Sweden the video call tariff alone is like 0.5-1 USD/min. Not cheap at all. Data plans on the other hand are way cheaper considering the versatility. I currently pay around 10 usd/month for 3 GB (speed is throttled after that limit is reached). If I need more, for around 38 USD/month I can get free phone calls, free SMS, free MMS and between 10 and 20 GB download. With that I can even make video calls to other countries with no additional cost. Can you do that with 3G video calls ?

If they are correct then this would be finally some good news for Sony, I wonder how things will go when the GS4, HTC One and LG Optimus G Pro are globally available though.

No, this 'news' is incorrect. It is outdated. It was stated by 3 sources a while ago. And because you follow this thread carefully, you should have known better.
