First off let me congratulate 786KBR on reaching the milestone. The other day I celebrated 2 years on Esato altho I'd been lurking around here for longer than that.
@mario: Before you invest in MyWireless check that ur "zoned"...many people have complained about the poor coverage but then again other people like the Wirelessmonkey who's got one hooked up to his iBook absolutely love the convenience of the service...once again different strokes for different folks.

If i may slightly digress.... I friend's notified me that apparently those in my region will be able to view Mars tonight, at approximately 00h30... Has anybody seen this since Mars-o-mania has come into vogue?

Haven't heard anything about viewing Mars. Will you actually be staying up in the cold to view it? This reminds of Haley's Comet back in 86 when I was but a wee pup in Sub B. Who would've thought about video calling and all sorts of crazy technology back in those dark days.

Yep, i'll be staying up, bro. Reminds me of a classmate years back who was a space-junkie, always enthralling us with tales of space exploration, new technologies, etc. as well as tales of wireless telephones... Used to say he'd work for NASA someday... Turns out he's an aeronautics engineer there after all!

@ Kryptik,
How was the Mars experience? Not much celestial viewing going on here in CT, it seems. While we were in the Karoo, stellar studies were obviously quite easy to perform;the Orion Belt & Southern Cross being particularly visible.
Tomorrow we fly to Jozi.Look forward to checking out the cellphone scene between visiting in Midrand,Edleen in Kempton Park & Mondeor.Man,I'm gonna miss the sea.
Driving along the coast past Kleinmond,Bettys Bay,Pringle Bay & onto Gordons Bay and then on to Strand,we were again reminded of what a beautiful country we live in.Two Dutch tourists just about piddled themselves with delight when they saw Southern Right Whales breeching close to shore.
Yes,I'm gonna miss SA when I return to the land of 'hope and glory.'(LOL,debatable...)

@ brix,
would love to see more of the west coast.Have been up close to Paternoster;stayed at Saldhana for a few nights 2 years ago,& nearly had a fight with the manager of the Spur in Vredenburg because of the way the arsehole spoke to some of his staff after they accidentally dropped some plates.Haven't been further up to Lamberts Bay and beyond, but would love to check it all out;maybe go up to Port Nolloth as well next time I'm back in the fairest Cape.
The P900 is starting to behave strangely on occasions.Nothing that switching the phone off & back on again doesn't cure. The virtual keypad icon is occasionally AWOL when I reply to a sms and the internet icon in the list sometimes refuses to activate.
These are the first niggly things since I got the P900 last April. The glitches don't happen too frequently, but will see how things transpire in the weeks and months to come...

@786, well done boet! @amawanqa, from the sounds of it, your SE's really reliable... 15plus months without any problems greater than those which you're currently experiencing certainly is worth mentioning! Not to slag Nokia or any other manufacturers, but theirs seem to act up fairly soon after acquisition...
