check the FAQ on the first page:

Q- Where do I put video files on the Duo?

A- The PSP plays MPEG4 videos (file extension .mp4)
These must be in the following directory for the PSP to recognise them:
(D: refers to the Duo)
D:/MP_ROOT/100MNV01
Files here should have a file name like M4V00001.MP4 with the '00001' number being different for each video. Also a thumbnail picture can be placed here named M4V00001.thm for example.

If your video files are AVC they should go in MP_ROOT/100ANV01
AVC files should have a file name like MAQ00001.MP4 with the '00001' number being different for each video.

Iv had my psp for about a month now and its goign back, i dont see what the big fuss was about them. On the two iv had both had dead pixels, and on this second one i have the joystick is funny sometimes.

Refund here i come
