Yeah i agree, but to me- according to the last few years since walkman and cybershot has been use- sony hasnt really supported se in the way they could and helped them to implement these technologies. It seems as if sony is scared of losing profits...

Seems like you didn't know Sony very well, Sony itself wants innovations upon it's trademark name, they don't care about the price and profits for as long as they stand to it's motto: like.no.other. it's the people inside SE that hinders those promises imho but now that dicky sits on SE there will probably be a change and this could lead to the presumption that SE would utilize Sony technology better than before

I agree with you, and that is the problem. SE seems to reserve all of its best and most fitting technologies for the Japanese market. The Bravia technology is there, 3x Optical zoom, 5Mpx, 2.8" screens (480x864 pix), Tv recievers, the works. I dont think technology is by any means the limiting factor, they have it at their fingertips and have had the technology for a long time. I think its more the business end of things which keeps us from getting much better specs at a faster rate like companies such as Nokia seem to be doing.

SONY plus Ericsson plus the leadership of mr dicky equals successful big ideas imho

excess: the only other mobile phone company with imaging and music technology know how is samsung.

I vote this for biggest lie of the year!
If sony wants innovation at all cost, then why did they stop or even cancell all those projects like aibo?
if sony wants SE to use more innovation they would've given SE full acces to all their stuff. And SE should've been forced to use Sony's memory cards.
