No one knows for sure what does Nokia plan... The only thing I have heard from people is that new symbian version which should be out next year.. But don't know nothing more.. I don't know if it is true at all.. And yeah it is a bit weird nokia letting others in front of them... Usually they happened to be one of the first to make some new sort of discovery... But not this time.

last i heard tht nokia has prb with n96 .. now thtz itz released nokia will be coping up with n85 and n79 .. so i guess they have no room for another phone ... or do they ...hmmmm

Not so sure... Producing so many new models at the same time requires large amount of financies... And if the phones don't succeed, it would be a disaster.
I guess nokia will be late or skip the 8mp generation...

i thought SE lead from the front with k750 and k800 till k850 came up .. thtz when n95 and n82 ruled the market ...

Well N95 was out after K800... Then
needed to release a 5mp camera phone which will compete with the N95, but instead of building K850 on DB2020 platform, they made a new platform (which took time) and a new phone running on it - the K850... It was too late to compete N95 and too buggy also... But now as the DB3150 platform is improved, the C905 shouldn't have that issues at all.

my point exactly striz .. n95 and n82 dominated the market whn k850 was introduced ... but i have a feeling SE are going to regain the crown ...

"Yesterday i've talked with one of the managers from the Nokias factory in Romania he says that nokia is having some problems in delivering a 8mpx device because they didn't expect this jump from SE and he said that sumsung didn't expect that either but they were lucky because they were already having a 8mpx camera chip in there possession.......They were expecting a 7 megapixel device from the competition,and they want to maintain as leaders in the camera department from the N82 success thi year....and he also said that at least one phone will be released with a bigger video recording resolution than vga "

yup .. the previous owner made a lot of mess in the company .. and the new owner (cant remember the name .. but i know he is from japan) is doing an excellent job with cleaning the mess .. starting with c905, w902 and x1
