RE: latest photos

the k850i seems to sort photos by date created (or modified perhaps) either way its not date taken - newest to oldest.
not a problem for photos you take, but can be for pictures/wallpapers.

i suggest you first remove date taken from your pictures (not photos) and the copy to phone or memory card.

after this, i suggest you use 'file date changer' (its very quick, easy and free)

to change the modified and created date-change it to a few years ago maybe-this will keep images organised; in the picture viewer in media player, they can be sorted by month, and if 'date taken' is not available they will be sorted by date created or modified - this helped much to organise my other photos onto this phone.

but the problem is not that they appear in the wrong order, but they dont appear at all.

which images don't appear?
latest photo will only show camera photos (or properly named files in the DCIM/100MSDCF folder where photos taken are stored)

pictures i have saved in the pictures folder appear for me in 'cam. album' under january 2005 (i have changed their dates) - so now they are at the top. gif files appear in 'pictures' below photo tags.
also, you can only tag photos taken by the k850i, and it does not recognise tags already on your photos.

re: dates - all files always have 'date modified' and 'date created' but only photos have 'date taken' which can be removed, unlike date modified and date created.
the file date changer quickly changes both date modified and date created for any file, and if there is no date taken on a photo, the phone recognise the date created or modified as the date it was taken.
i could take a photo now, then remove 'date taken' from its properties, then change its creation and modification date using the file changer; to say 1/1/2001 and the phone would recognise it as from 1/1/2001.

well it also showed 5 of my pictures that were stored on the phones memory in "pictures", not in the camera album.
I've deleted them now, and not it only shows cam-photos

anyway
ANOTHER BUG!! When i listen to music and someone calls me i need to take out the connector of my headphones..but then when i reconnect it after finishing the conversation the mediaplayer AND the radio has completely stopped working and i need to restart the phone.
I just had to restart 5x while cycling because someone called me while i was listening to music! ARG!!!

I'm wanting to debrand the k850i from Orange to generic uk, which version do you think is the better? this is from DaVinci i only ask because i want to be sure it works to update via seus when the new update is finally released
