It is not blocked/firewalled, it is just that the irc server doesnt allow multiple connections from a single IP (i think) , I have tryed all possible ways but everytime it says "your IP is banned on this server"

MCE 2005 requires a minimum of a 1.6 GHz (or equivalent) processor, and 256 MB of RAM. That's with only one tuner, no extenders, and a hardware encoder and decoder. So if your hardware meets the above specs, it should work

@sai, use avg 6.0 free edition and do not always rely on NIS... you can also try zone alrm firewalll.. which is good...

In case of frequent disconnctn use either of the foll. two
atx1s10=255
atx=255
In case of low speed, can use
s10=255
