You guys get exceptional pic quality, mine is not that good, although maybe it has something to do with my phones age, I got mine, just before Masseur got his, now that was a long time ago

Must be 6-8 months, I'm not sure.

@Chazzer3, to have good pictures itīs essencial a good subject (nice forms, nice textures, nice colors, etc), very good light and steady hand

Ah and i did some post-processing, like i do with photos from my digicamera: contrast, saturation and sharpness adjustmente in PSP

I didnīt use noise reduction this time though (with noiseware)

@chili, that pic could be used in a newspaper - ever thought of being a photo journalist?

@kamikaze, I love fruits

I think our pics in this thread are becoming better and better. We're now focusing more on the creative aspect. In the beginning of the thread, it was only right that we posted relatively "undirected" shots, under inhospitable conditions, in order to show the K700i camera's limitations (slow shutter, strong noise in the dark, etc). Use of photoediting programs was almost taboo then, understandably. And that was only right.

Now that we're well aware of the cam's limitations, I think the challenge is: How far can we stretch the limits of the K700i's VGA camera, using computer editing and the built-in effects -- b&w, negative, sepia, solarize -- to come up with truly inspiring, riveting photos?

My praises to marlonski, cyberlip, hohohong, yeppi, & arez for the well-thought-out, well-edited pics. Venom for the guts (dammit, you don't have a shutter sound, do you), and blackspot for the fruits

@blackspot -- the b&w photo of the sampaguita vendor is one of the most painful to look at among my photos. The tiredness, hunger, frustration, lost education -- it's all in the face. I don't think I'll last a day as photojournalist.
