Blunty has the Z1 and has done a photo Z1 and iPhone 5S photo comparison:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhTVWlTbYhY
Video comparison to come soon, and who knows maybe more if he does a full review of the Z1.

@randomuser - that app website doesn't support Z1 yet. i wouldn't recommend using it for anyone until the site itself can confirm it will work on Z1..
and yes, rooting DOES void your warranty. though, i'm unsure if they can tell if you UNROOTed or not.
personally, i plan to wait until my warranty period has expired before rooting. never know what i might need it and it's a risk i'm not willing to take, to simply do a few extra things that i really don't need at the moment
EDIT: err.. where'd your post go?

@moogoo
Rooting doesn't affect warranty. You are confusing rooting with unlocking bootloader

i am not confusing the two.
just going based on the website of the rooting app you linked, which says it voids warranty
i haven't read the warranty and i dunno what that app does exactly.. sooo hrmmm..
god i'm tired. i'm seeing double! (@_@)

That's just the website of an app. I've read over the years, that rooting doesn't affect the warranty. Also, you can always flash a stock rom with flashtool and all traces are gone.
I've also edited my previous post, the full size pictures should be available now.

drsoran2 - great pics. seems like Z1 does really well now in daylight. its the lowlight performance that could be improved i think. as far as post processing goes. there's still much more potential in both day and night shots though, from what i've seen with the update.

@moogoo
Z1 has 6 hours of screen on time, I really envy right now!
what's about maximum screen on time you can get with the previous xperia s?
with rather xoxo network coverage, my xs screen on time maximum of 2.30 hrs or 2 hrs plus around 10% last
camera with latest firmware look surely big improvement. I hope it can get little bit more with next next update.
and I've got this infographic about US 4G LTE Coverage from Mosaik, it may helps for US folks here though

So even after update the blur is still here. It must be lens fault, that's sad.
Look closely at this pic from XperiaJunkie.
At the back of white car, you can see the "ghost" duplicate of it, and it happens where the blur is always present, must be some lens flaw that it got repeated when the sun is reflecting special way. Looks like G Lens is a disadvantage rather than advantage...
I've had the SAME issue on one of my Z photos. Full sun, the car looks like doubled.
It's a SW.

Video better than iPhone. Photos on par sometimes better as well.
In general - great performance.
