thought it might be someting along those lines,but how the hell they get my email address? i've never had any personal type email sent to me before from someone i don't know

i dare say i firmly believe they can get them from microsoft somehow. Stuff like this always arrives to my hotmail account and never to any other.
I also receives spam addressed to every single hotmail address that strat with 'vlam' (vlamammitis, vlmamer, vlammend, vlaming, vlamamma, you name it...... I suspect they have a list of exitsing hotmail addresses somehow and send that mail to 20 ppl at a time.
Those money scammers only send it to one of course, they take your addy off the net. Try goodling your own email addy.... might surprise you

normally i don't get any spam at all though that and defo not personal emails like that.
But yeah i will search for it and see.
Just did a Google and...nothing at all not 1 result

Purple? :o @Rob, ok I give up then. They may have gotten your addy from another company or service or even from o2 . selling contact details for (e) mailing lists is a lucrative business :-(
