TJ, try a master reset. I know it's a pain, but there is a reasonably good chance that a master reset will fix it. I've heard of it done atleast a couple of times. Can't find the posts though.
I don't think it's a firmware issue, since I've seen this problem reported on all previous firmwares (and now R1N as well with your post). I had the problem on my R1J but it disappeared when I updated to R1L. Yet I have also seen peeps with this problem on R1L, so I think it was simply the resetting of the firmware that fixed it for me. I probably could have fixed it by master resetting rather than updating to R1L (still R1L is the best and most stable firmware so far so I'm glad I did update).

I've had this problem but I never really use the shortcuts, but will try a master rest soon to see if it fixes it.

Hi,
I'm kinda new to this forum (and the whole SE scene), so take it easy on me
I bought my SE k750i Blasted Silver secondhand (Voda simlocked), and when i tried to update the firmware to a newer version, it got an error saying it couldn't upgrade. Now i presume it's operator restricted.
Here are my stats that i found on Software Info:
Code:R1L002
prgCXC 1250035_EU_2_CL R1L002
LCD SW versions
Main display
Current: 0
Camera SW versions
Camera
Current: 4.4
ITP SW version
CXC 125 932 R1E
Customaziation
CDA102338/12 R21A
cxc125953 R 1L002
VFE_1
Content version PA19
And my SIM lock
Code:Network (l) 10
Network subset (o) 5
Service provider (o) 5
Corporate (o) 5
Extended (o) 5
with (l) meaning a locked lock and (o) open lock.
And now my questions (yeey) :
- How can i update to the newest version?
- What is the newest version / Where to get?
- If i unlock it (in the nearest market), would the firmware version be altered/changed/downgraded?
TIA, and sorry for my noobness
/edit:
oh yea, i forgot to mention, this is supplied in Holland.

When vodaphone release their customized R1N035 SE will let you have it untill then you might wanna try davinci as that can remove customization etc.
