I saw that earlier but dismissed it as soon as I saw them trying to convince you to pay £750, as though it was a bargain, by saying...

"THESE HANDSETS WILL RETAIL AT £800 WHEN RELEASED!"

and also they have a low feedback and since you already know that you can't receive the phone right now they have plenty of time to scam a few people and dissapear before questions are asked.

I'd not recommend anything like this except from the well known ebay sellers

well 2 more months and it will be a year since this phone was last announced ....they should really have continued producing the p910 with minor updated version it would have kept us occupied becoz at the moment the situation looks silly really there has not been a flagship pxxx series model in shops for the past couple of months ,i wonder what strategy they call it ps i hope those in responsible for this lack of foresight get sacked for losing the company a lot of cash

LOL - SE would be rather foolish to place this device at that sort of price point. Thats AUD$2000

You can by a MacBook for less than that.

think the prices out there right now are the rip-off pre-order prices. If you Froogle it, you get sites around $1700 dollars. You could probably buy 2 for that much!

I reckon the final retail price (without the "I must have it first" premium) will be around $700..

SCAM SCAM

Check the feedback that is very old and you'll see it is built-up of $0.99 and $0.01 transactions. Only the most recent two/three are for mobile phones.

I've been checking this thread daily for almost a year now (and the rumor thread before the P990 was announced for almost another whole year!). It sure seems like everyone's enthusiasm for this phone has been dead for the last few days. It was exciting to see sealover's, aafshari's, and celltech's new pictures of boxes and the phone, but since then -- nothing! I guess we have all learned by now that SE just going to release the P990 whenever they darn well please. And we also can't rely on any of these preliminary dates from online stores. This phone has become a nuisance for me. I wish I never even knew about it until it finally hit stores. I currently hate this phone and will not forgive it until I have one. (Sorry, just needed to rant.)

TomTom supports UIQ2.1 not UIQ3. The rumour is TomTom will wait until TomTom 6 is out before porting to UIQ3

Agreed, but often you can fudge these things, it's just the installer that fails.

I'm sceptical because of the screen size changes & wotnot, but I just would like to see it tried to set my mind at rest.

I guess my p910i will have to stay in the glovebox until TT6 allegedly comes out in September..
