The SE site still mention "If you have purchased a K630i, K850i, V640i, or W910i please update your firmware in the next release in January 2008 for optimal performance."

I have exactly the same problem with my DS-980 and K850 (037 FW, unbranded), so hopefully it's a FW issue that can be sorted out. Really annoying when you can't answer a call.

It is kinda load of BS, this SE.. Announcing to all the world they have the update in January 2008 and then not saying anything when they breach the scheduled time.... It was not even defined day, but the whole month!

As i said before, SE customer(-they don't-)care told me that the firmware was to be released this week. Let's see if that also was BS!
Edit: I spoke to SE Sweden now and they still told me this week and that they hadn't heard anything about any delays for the release this week. So let's hope (if one still care to bother) that it will arrive tomorrow or on friday.
Edit 2: Just tried..nothing YET!!!!

My K850 is a 037 luminous green unbranded and works like a charm with my DS-980 (listening to music + handling calls) i am waiting for the new FW so i can have a better camera and solve some minor bugs that i already listed somewhere here. other than that i think it is a great phone.
i am also waiting for XS support so the modding and pimping rush can start!!!

It is possible that SE will not update K850i...never?
It is unbelievable that today, K850i fails in Flash Sync in any firm...
Maybe SE will be working in new invoices for new future device, K850i successor...
