This crazy weather we're experiencing is making it nearly impossible to get online. The only settings which seem to work tonight are Exactmobile, and their connection is tenuous at best. How much of an effect do gale-force winds, as well as other weather phenomena really have on signal strength?

Ain't that a fact... My neighbour's had his D500 nearly 3months. He's yet to send an mms, or log onto a site... I helped a cellular repair guy to set his D500 up for wap, got him an email addy, etc... He's yet to use his phone for wap either, 2months down the line... It's sad how sleepy our people can be.

yes, Samsung have marketed their phones heavily in SA which reflects in their market position in SA.
@Kryptik: Funny that you mention that. Yesterday in the taxi I was playing Pandora Tomorrow and a D500 users wanted 2 know how he could download games onto his phone...problem is he didn't even have GPRS enabled on his sim.

Tell me about it! I've got a semi-permanent position at school as chief install-tones-and-stuff-on-my-phone-plz-sir specialist at school amongst the kids. I keep a list of appropriate sites together with a spare sim specifically for that purpose... Hopefully we're breeding a new generation of wap cognoscenti.

Y'ello happy hours.
for the Vodago standard, you're off-peak time actually starts now at 5pm, because there's only a 9c difference between happy hours and off-peak time. - well only your txt prices has a dif, but you can MMS at the same rate, why bother with txt?
