I never bothered with the hacked version before, just used the original. Thought I'd give the latest version a try, but I get application error when I try to run it. Looking through the last few pages I see some K800 users can run it, and others cannot. Is there something we're forgetting to do?

For about a month there was a beta k800 version on the page, it's no longere there though. No idea why? MAybe somone who downloaded it can paste the url to the jar if it's still active?
@edsingm-The page is russian, but opera is in english when downloaded.

For those who got frightened about the new version being in russian (and did not bother to check options). Just go to the options menu and change the language to english and it will be so.
Hope this helps someone.

Opera Mini Hack won't work w/ my K610i (FW R1CB001).

The official version does but it's no match to the hacked version in terms of features. Anyone who has found a solution to this, would appreciate your feedback, thanks!
(Other apps i tried w/c do not require a license don't work too -- Text Editor, ReadManiac, SMOB. Like what Bosshogg said a few pages back, there seems to be a protection in newer SE phones.)

Hide files only works oncertain Siemens mobiles, if you want to quickly make a file unreadable in the phone use oper to rename it eg-from 'dodgyimage.jpg' to 'dodgyimage.jp', this will make it unopenable by the phone until the name is changed back. You can still send it to a pc and rename it that way though.
To the above poster, version 123 was last updated 3 days ago, nowhere near old.
