> Nokia N73 vs SE K800i which is better?

sloopjohnB.. haven't i taught you not to repeat facts that already mention? sigh... it is really boring you know. Aniway, K800 does have stereo speakers, it uses the speaker that is used to talk (the one above the screen as a secondary speaker), although i found that with the stereo widening being activated, the quality becomes really weird. Btw, i read in a review, N73's speaker indeed a stereo speaker, but, that will only become a stereo speaker if only you put it horizontally not vertically. Why would you use speaker if you have such a high quality headphones?
K800 can connect to the 5.1 logitech (i forgot the model), if you use W800's earphone ^___^. it produce thousands times better quality (dolby surround you know.. even better THX quality if i have the speaker.. i wish i have one) than being limited to stereo speakers on the phones body like N73. Can N73 DO THAT?

with my phone explorer 1.5, you can do this as well..

K800 has preinstalled google search on its web browser, which is all you guys know, google is the best searching device on the net.

with the additional tab of "running aps" on the activity menu, K800 can handle up to 10 java programs, mp3 and bluetooth, messaging at the same time, and you can switch between them in only one press button. Why it is not good at multi tasking? i haven't try it though.. i dun need to run that much program at once. Im not sure if N73 is capable of doing this kind of multitasking.

K800 is more advance than K750 you know, since you can view your picture in various modes: thumbnail list, list, 3X3 thumbnail, 5X5 thumbnail, timeline view--which allows you to browse the picture you've taken based on the time: month and date. You can do slide show, you can edit the color balance, contrast and put somthing on the picture, thanks to the photoDJ. You can put music on you photos as well, thanks to videoDJ. You can put your photos to folders ^__^, what's wrong with folder based? As far as i know with N70, basicall you cannot customise your picture gallery.. tell me about N73?

Only wallpaper? you surely have not have a single bits of idea about SE's theme system.. you can change everything else except the main icons.

K800 has 1000 capacity of sms, i think that is good enough for most ppl. My K750 has unlimited sms storage because of Darkmen's help.

K800's game is not too bad. Why you use phones to play games? Wii is alot better, PS3 is coming up. I got DS lite btw.

some ppl do not like active today screen because it blocks the wallpaper away. Unless it has touchscreen, i think that feature will not be as easy to use.

with 2,4" and 320X240? hmm.. K800 has more density then becoz it is 2" and it is 320X240. Besides, the K800 screen size is not that small either, it is the same size as N90 and D600. Any complaint?

yes the memory card is alot cheaper.. i dun understand why you say bigger size means better phones.. i think most ppl complaint about the size of the N93 and N90.

believe me, i dun even know how to use voice tags or voice dialling. I type the number or i search from the phone book.

you must remember one thing: do not even try to edit docs from your N73, it is a total waste of time, the keypad sux. If it is just to view the docs, then i think that is the strong point really.

At the very least, K800 support these profile, although u must reboot your phone. The good thing though: it is possible to use K800 without the simcard.

i have nothing to say about this except: at least K800's video playback is good enough for me. It can plays videos that i downloaded from youtube ^__^.

what is PTT? is that a food? Australia has 3G network, EDGE is not necessary. What's the good thing about PTT? if most ppl don't even know about that, will they use it?
yep.. so basically i think the "strong points" that you mention to me do not sounds convincing at all
. But, as i said in the previous post, we know all of these specs, pls.. do not post something like this again. I am sick of reading it.

But you are right i wont repeat anything again, if you think is boring for you to read it imagine how it is to me that have to rewrite it again and again. I did it because it just seems that some people simply dont understand simple things or always try to find any argument, silly ones most of times, to defend k800 and its irritating so i felt i needed to repeat it in the naive assumption that if people read it again it might get into their stubborn minds but thats it. This is a
forum and
models will always be preferred, no matter what.

You got your fact WRONG again. N90 screen is bigger than K800 in terms of area (at least 20% bigger).

if you like one phone than good..don't have to prove another phone bad in order to prove you have the better phone...
i guess that's what its all about.. proving the phone we have is the best and the others bad.

Im sure if anyone was thinking of buying this phone they would have realisednow how closley the 2 are to each other. Each one has pros and cons against each other but if you want to know which is the most popular one just look at the link below and all will be relvealed.

You see there that the k800 is still selling igh whilst the n73 is in 5th below even the Samsung e900.
Ist like ive said from the start, people dont want a phone with nice features but poor bugs on basic features. They want a nice perfected phone which doesnt have so many bugs.

Same here, cant believe this thread is still going.
As I said in this thread, just sick with whatever model you have, i.e Nokia, SE and get whatever phone you need it for, i.e smartphone for more business minded individuals (N73), basic operations for those who like to keep things simple (K800).

In the end, it's down to preference...you either want a smartphone or you don't. Both handsets are excellent and which ever you choose you will be happy with.
