hi @sunils, it's not too late, K750 still available. It's so cheap now plus it has the latest firmware. But if you want better UI and screen, get the W810 instead. The price difference between the two is only a little over US$20 now.

The May 2006 onwards K750I are the ones with the nobbled camera & poor picture quality ( new upgraded camera module my a**e Sony Ericsson )

You really want one of the pre May 2006 CID 36 phones if you want 4 x zoom in largest picture setting & a better picture quality, Ebay time.

I picked up a non working one of Ebay for £9.06 yesterday, handy thing is I have my own old non working K750I to try & make a working phone out the two & keep as a spare.

Well, little things like having a list of most recent sms recipients when you press send, being able to minimise java apps, being able to edit your list of T9 words and more. These are things I think for granted now, and there are many more that I can't remember off-hand, but they make my K750i a pleasure to use. I'm now pondering over whether to get a W810i or not. I know it's a good phone, and if I do get a new phone right now, that would be it. The only consideration is whether I really do need to upgrade from my K750i to the W810i, and whether it's worth it or not since I'll have to be it without contract.

Keep your K750I, get a 2 or 4 gb pro duo memory stick & then flash the walkman player & sound patch on to the K750I, have the best of both worlds & save money.

I've just picked a K750i up off Ebay fairly cheap and replaced a broken screen in it, still a great phone!

I was going to start another experiment off with it, but due to it needing a battery and looking a bit tatty I might start with another phone and keep this one as (another!) spare. It's a CID36 one, though I have to say I haven't noticed the difference in pic quality between CID36 and CID49 phones.

I want to buy a memory stick pro duo card with a capacity of 1 GB[it's enough for me].

I saw at the IT shop, there is one model called Memory stick pro duo ULTRA 2

ULTRA 2? and that means? it's better?

Ultra 2 ones should be quicker with data transfer etc., should be OK in your phone, though I sold one of those with a W850i and it didn't read it properly, though I never had a problem with it!

Incidentally, I bought a 1gb Sandisk M2 card for my K610im a few days back. However, I'm quite disappointed with the K610 and will be selling it. So I'm using the M2 card with my K750i now and I noticed that it takes a significantly shorter amount of time to save a picture after taking it, compared to my 512mb Sony MSPD which I was using prior to this.

Sorry you didn't like the K610i. Hubby had one of those, nice phone and interface (similar to my K810i), but the camera is crap on it.

Oh, mine was the K610im, the i-mode version which doesn't support java apps, that's the main reason I'm so disappointed with it. I need to use Opera Mini and the Gmail app. The K610i was what I wanted to get, unfortunately, my service provider only offered the i-mode version. I'm off to get a W810i now, hope to get a good price for trading-in my K610im. With any luck, you'll see me posting here about my new W810i real soon!

I'm pretty sure you will like the W810i, it's a nice phone. Can't bear to part with mine.

Well, guess what? I just bought the W810i! And I'm looking forward to experiencing the excitement I had when I first got my K750i! I'm hoping I wasn't unlucky enough to get a defective one, you know how it is with electronics. By the way, does anyone know what's the latest firmware and erom version? I don't have access to a computer right now. Thanks!
