No problems here too with crashes on the image viewer. Try to do a master reset after upgrade. This solved all my problems with this firmware;) The only problem i had since 1st firmwares was the broken pictures. Theres nothing wrong with those pictures cause they work well on my pc and on my other phone so its p990 fault. Now this problem is solved since i edited them on paint (just save them again as jpg) and send them again to MS.

@alpha; tried your problem with 226 pic in one folder, dont get your problem, but its slow when refreshing the pics. The only problem I had was auto restart, still happening to me more often than the previous firmware.

Anyhow, I suspect your issue is with the memory card. Are your pics stored in the memory stick? There are lots of S "zero" NY memory sticks in the market that are sold 1/3 of the original price.

I am still having focusing problems with the camera. In general, the pix I take in open daylight seem OK, whereas about 50% of those taken indoors are out of focus. Today I took four pictures within a time frame of 2 minutes, same light conditions in a mall, a distance of about 1 meters with the flash on, 1 was good, 1 was unacceptable - very bad focus and 2 were slightly off focus. To me this clearly indicates a firmware problem. In all cases I half pressed the shutter button several times to give the P990 a chance to obtain proper focus but it doesn't seem to work that way.

@makbil; yup, I have similar camera focus problem with this latest firmware. I suggest you press twice the camera shutter, once to focus first then next to press all the way to snap pic.
Dont have this problem with R9EA though where the camera was superb. Now I may just abandon this P990

Hi,
I just bought myself a P990i and updated firmware to R4B03. But I feel that the UI is poping up too slow, speaker max volume is a bit soft and the Camera is just not focusing properly; am very dissappointed with the camera
I hope they fix them in next firmware.

I am happy Wifi is working for me though :)

alpha,ares

I had the same problem ( when I upgraded to R4B03) with the picture viewer and a problem with the camera but both the problems desappeared after a second master reset. The only big problem I have now is with video calls. The screen gets stuck after 3 seconds.

I never did a disk format. i don't really know how to go to the the hidden menu.
