Charlie Boorman's BMW from The Long Way Down TV adventure series:



Actor Ewan McGregor and his intrepid best mate,Charlie Boorman, travelled on their BMW 1200cc motorbikes from John O'Groats, Scotland, to the most southern tip of Africa. (although it sez Cape Town on the sticker, which people would recognise more than Cape Agulhas).

Personally I preferred the long way round to the long way down. Having said that I would have loved to be on that last leg of the journey with 100 or so other bikers. That must have been an awesome ride.

@ama - I wonder if this Bike was an official ENTRY of the Junior-Senior tandem in the Discovery Channel's - Choppers TV show Nice shot for an INDOOR !

@ Jojo,
They actually had one of the Orange County Choppers bikes at the International Motorcycle Show in Birmingham in November. It was the 'Lincoln' bike.

@ama - WOOOOOOOOOW ! The cream-of-the-crop the Ducati 1098 nice exhaust pipe - Akrapovic Is that the design-name or Brand itself

About that GOLDEN-metallic-bike . . . I wonder if you can still ride on that even on the F1 race track . . . the clearance between the body and pavement is LESS than a millimeter I guess
