just some comparison.. k770 - t650. this is unedited, you can see the full-size pic. both using k770's camera driver (R8BA Taiwan). but the lens are obviously different from each other.

t650

k770

IMO, K770 image is much sharper.

Hmm interesting. My T650i takes pictures like your K770i - no where near as blurry as your T650i example. See for yourself:

Taken by my T650i, full size untouched picture:

My first T650i had a camera lens defect, where the left side of every picture I took was very blurry (similar to how yours looks). I called up SE and they said that there was something clearly wrong with it, and I had it exchanged since it was still new. My 2nd one has been perfect so far. Certainly not all T650i's take pictures that bad!

Please don't take it as an offense, but if I look at the house, the plants and the number plate of the car, I think my K770 can take a little sharper image than that. Coz I've capture lots of images similar like that (with lots of numbers plate etc etc) with my K770.

But I agree, it's interesting to see that your image is OBVIOUSLY sharper than my T650's, although not as sharp as my K770's images. AFAIK.

I think I'm gonna change my T650 driver to R7AA China.

You're right. The K770i may be a tad bit sharper, though overall I can't tell much of a difference. Its possible the software in the K770i applies a bit extra sharpening effect also - there is really no way to tell if its from a different lens or a software difference. Not sure why your T650i takes such poor pictures, though. You're sure the lens wasn't dirty or smudged?

I'm sure about the cleanliness of the lens cover glass. Though, I don't know if its inside is as clean. I hope it's clean as well.

No. That thing is called ambient light sensor anyway. Doesn't K770's light sensor do well? Coz I think K770's light sensor really does well - unlike T650's.
