I experience problem with both my 2 sets of SE X10 mini phones. I use 8GB SanDisk memory card and every day I get the message about "memory card has been removed....", but I not do anything. Then I need to remove memory card and insert it again or turn off/on the phone.
Memory card could be faulty or needs reformatting.
I have a 16gb card running in mine & seems to be working perfectly fine.

I will try reformat, but formating selection in the phone is "greyed out" so I am not able to reformat.....

well phones4u have told me they are expecting some stock of 02 payg phones in today, so will hopefully get one later on. No idea if they are locked or not, but will find out if I ever get one.

They had told me the same thing all week but with phones4u the phones are just sim free models & they put a pay as you go sim card with it.
providing they get a decent amount of stock then you may get lucky & they'll let you have it as pay as you go, if they only get small amount they'll use the old "priority for contract customers only" excuse.

Rang my store this morning, they told me they are due 2-3 payg 02 ones in at 12 noon, takes about an hour for them to get them on the system, and will call me as soon as they are there, so I can go through and pick one up. Not too bothered if it is lovked or not, just to have one will be enough. Hope you are correct about them being sim free, and just sticking a payg sim in the box. Should know shortly if they have arrived, then straight in the car and through to collect it.
Like a kid in a sweet shop at the moment, cash burning a hole in my pocket.

I'm not trying to put a damper on things but just be careful when they say things like "we should be getting 2 or 3 pay as you go ones in" as with phones4u there's actually no such thing.
Basically all they do is have a delivery of generic sim free handsets & put with it a standard pay as you go sim. depending on quantity & if the manager is in a good mood he will either tell all the staff they are for contract customers only or will allow a few to be sold as pay as you go.
I hoe you get one as it sounds like you're as eager as I was to get one & trust me it's a cracking bit of kit.

No wonder since the phone can't find the card since it thinks it's removed. Try to format on a PC if you hace a card reader connected to it (but I doubt this will help). Did you use same 8 GB card on both units or two different cards ?

What came in the box with yours, was there the mh810 headset or just the standard one? and what colour extra cover.
