@nallyvaico:
Please read this thread and you will be directed to sites that carry the beta.
@all:
Just to let everyone know that we have tested the SMS option in Network Info and it works correctly on the P800, P900 and P910. The only user who has complained (waive at my-symbian.com) has gotten it to work somewhat after formatting his P800. We are still investigating this, but it looks like the code in SMan works correctly. Droll is still investigating.

Hi all,
As per Droll's post earlier on either here or at other forums. The latest change logs:
1. fixed zip navigation being hidden when it should be
2. fixed findfile can now search hidden folders and files depending on show hidden option specified in file manager.
3. fixed test archive does not need a temp unzip folder to be specified
4. fixed sman.vcf issue. if user selected built-in message and vcf does not exist, sman will create the vcf file with the default message of "SE rulez!". this message is not inside the resource file. it's hard coded in sman.
5. included a separate FC and FO startup view
A friendly reminder, all v1.4 betas will expire on 1-Apr-2005.

[Since I can't attach the SMan v1.4 beta 5 file here, please go to your favorite file pimp for the installer]

the newest beta removed SMan from my apps list in FC mode. I don't know if there is a limit of FC programs or not, but I already have more programs than numbers.

Hmm so far everything is working fine but I keep getting a message when running the bluejack module that it cannot find the file used to bluejack.
Edit: Nevermind I've sorted it

A few restarts sorted my problem out and now SMan is back to its old position in the Apps list.

This was the one feature I really wanted and I am so glad it was added. Thanks.

@ ajack & droll:i don't mean to complain, but since it has become apparent from the beta 6 that certain options are allowed only if supported by the hardware profile, may i ask why there is no SE profile, just Moto? It's no biggie, I just created a new HW profile, selected all options and activated it. consequently, the reboot, hotkey and autostart options (and others as well) are no longer grayed out and may be used. however, there will surely be some users that won't be able to figure this out and you'll have lots of questions directed at you. so, is there any particular reason why there is no SE profile currently?
